So we want to become a big brand, a big blogger in 2024 and the future. And we were looking for tips on the web.
But to become a big brand and to make a brand from your blog you need a lot of time and patience. I think patience is most important. People need to know and find your brand.
But wait a minute, what more can you do?
There are a lot of bloggers that turned their blogs into big brands, think of Chiara Ferragni with the Blonde Salad and Huda Kattan with Huda Beauty. But also Kourtney Kardashian with Poosh. These websites have millions of visitors now, 10 years after launch. Huda has her own make-up line with products and Chiara has her own clothing, bags and make-up line: the Chiara Ferragni collection. These woman sell their own products now and make money with their blogs.
Of course you need marketing and good content. But I think to become a famous blogger and make your blog a brand just cost a lot time. It won’t happen overnight.
Here are some more tips for the bloggers that want to become more like a brand
1.Use WordPress
The days of blogspot and blogger are actually over. You need a good website and WordPress is it.

2.Focus on connecting with your audience
Don’t write only for yourself and because you want to get rid of your thoughts. Try to inspire people, try to connect with them. Focus on storytelling. The key to tell powerful brand stories is developing an emotional resonance with your audience. This way you will connect with them. Give information, tips etc. You are the expert and you can help people. But also be open for comments of your audience. What do they like to see and read? Interact with fans!
3.Good content
This is maybe a hint to ourselfs (find a good writer;)). You need good keywords, popular topics, things people search for. Your content needs to be fire. I am actually Dutch and my English is not that great so once I have more budget I want to hire a writer for the content. I think good content is very important. Also, not only write about the things you like, but write about what your audience wants to read and see. About famous people and their brands for example. So Kim Kardashian, yes your a big topic for us. She is popular and famous so its obvious we write about her. Ofcourse we also have our opinion.
4.Marketing
You can be famous already on the gram and Facebook and because of that you will get traffic to your website. I think a lot of brands focus on this. Because Instagram is a big hype. But the most important thing is organic traffic. Organic traffic is visitors that come on your website from unpaid sources. So its free traffic. Organic sources here include search engines like Google, Yahoo, or Bing. We focus a lot on SEO. SEO is Search Engine Optimization and is the process used to optimize a website’s technical part, the content and link popularity so its pages can become easily findable, more relevant and popular towards user search queries, and as a results of that, search engines rank them better. So you will get more organic traffic. Some websites have no social media and only focus on SEO and organic traffic.
You will need a SEO expert,which you can find everywhere on the web nowadays. Everyone pretends to be an expert, but who really is? Find someone affordable but good. A lot of SEO experts sell you bullshit and bad backlinks. Bad badlinks can hurt your SEO. We know all about that.
