Facebook was already losing popularity and users, but now its Instagram losing its popularity. Or not?
Instagram..whats up with Instagram? Are the best days of Instagram over? I am no longer on the platform. At least not what iammandyb, my own brand. I got frustrated about likes and followers. Everyone wants followers but people don’t want to follow others except for celebs and famous brands. They only follow something that already has a lot of followers. So people like Kimk, Drake, Shakira, Justin Bieber, Kylie Jenner etc.
Some people say Instagram will be dead in 10 years..There will probable be a new social media app that takes over everything. For now its TikTok. TikTok is very popular these days. The youth is on TikTok and not only the youth these days. Others are trying to.
On the 2nd of February 2022, a year ago, Meta which owns Facebook and Instagram, lost $230 billion in market value within 24 hours, the largest wipeout in market value for any U.S. company ever. And According to a new report from The Wall Street Journal, Instagram engagement is declining, with Reels, in particular, seeing a significant drop-off in user engagement of late.
Instagram wants to be Tiktok so badly and its just not working. The Kardashians already spoke about it and want Instagram to be Instagram again. TikTok is the hype of 2023 and the future. But what if you are not into making video’s? What of you like images and content?
I think influencers on Instagram are dying out. I dont think Instagram will be here in 10 years..
I hope blogging is making a comeback. Not personal blogging, but informative and educational blogging. People search for advice and information. But on the other hand I dont want that, cause now the competition is less. A lot of people stopped blogging because of social media like Instagram and TikTok.
Instagram is also actually just a free platform for almost naked images. A lot of influencers (that dont make any money) are turning towards Onlyfans. A platform where they can make money with their erotic and naked content.
Most instagram users that post erotic/lingerie content don’t make much money with Instagram. There are so many influencers but the truth is most don’t make that much from the gram.
So they focus on Onlyfans. Big stars like Cardi B and Iggy Azalea are on Onlyfans and make big bucks with it. They don’t sell naked stuff, they sell unique art, artistic stuff , information and other stuff to people. Thats a good idea though.
But no matter what I won’t join Onlyfans, I think its trash and cheap. I rather focus on my blogs/brands. I think you don’t need Onlyfans to become rich. There are other ways. What you think of Patreon? Its for talented artist showing their artwork, also cosplayers are on it. But nude/naked content is not allowed. Maybe I will join Patreon to make some extra bucks.
Think of something.
