Influencer Nikkie de Jager aka Nikkie Tutorials is one of the most famous beauty influencers in the world. Her YouTube channel name is NikkieTutorials. With more than 14 million subscribers on YouTube, NikkieTutorials is undoubtedly one of the most popular and beloved beauty influencers in the world and did you know she is Dutch? I am also Dutch! Nikkie Tutorials aka Nikkie de Jager was inspired to learn how to apply makeup after watching a popular American TV show, “The Hills”. She started posting makeup tutorials online in 2008 on her YouTube channel and also started pursuing professional makeup classes with the artist Pascale Tesser in 2010. The classes led her to join Tesser`s Colorful Agency in 2011, which later offered her with makeup jobs at international TV shows and magazines such as Marie Claire. Even so, in 2014 she went freelance and was able to dedicate her efforts to her YouTube channel full time.

Nikkie de Jager went viral with her video “The Power of MAKEUP!”, De Jager was inspired by publishing a video to show her followers just how exceptionally you can change your appearance with makeup. On the left side of her face, she used a lot of beauty products, including the Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer and the Too Faced Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palette. On the right side, she used none. This video made her go viral. She wanted her beauty videos to sound more professional and she later changed her YouTube name which was previously “Something like GlamourGirlx3” and that`s how ‘Nikkie Tutorials’ was born. Collaborations and own make-up line

De Jager eventually had a much more successful collaboration with Ofra Cosmetics, which was launched in 2017. De Jager`s Ofra collection originally comprised of three liquid lipsticks and a highlighter wheel has since expanded and is still available to purchase on Ofra`s website. She also collaborated with the beauty brand Maybelline in the same year.

In 2019, De Jager became the first global beauty adviser for Marc Jacobs Beauty. She was incorporated into the brand`s development of the product. She also contributed her tremendous intellectual capability to develop relevant content and beauty around the globe on both Marc Jacobs Beauty and her channels. In December 2019, De Jager collaborated with International artist, Lady Gaga and in August 2020, De Jager launched her own eyeshadow palette in collaboration with the brand Beauty Bay.

Next to many collaborations she also has her own brand since 2021,:Nimya. She sells make-up and skincare products. We don’t know if the brand is selling well and how much it is worth. Its just 1 year after launch so this takes time.

Nikkie has received several awards as a significant influencer. She was declared one of the top ten beauty influencers in 2017 by Forbes magazine. She has also won the Shorty Award for “YouTube Guru” and the Teen Choice Award for “Choice Fashion/Beauty Web Star” both in 2017.

She also works with celebrities like Lady Gaga, Madison Beer, and Kim Kardashian. She is a genuine and honest influencer and never reviewed any bad and harmful products as good products which makes trusted and loved by her fans. She is worth more than $6 million in 2022. A rich Dutch beauty influencer.

Personal life

De Jager disclosed herself as a transgender woman by uploading her first 2020 video from her YouTube channel titled “I`m coming out.” She revealed that as a transgender makeup artist, it is not easy to be accepted. She inspired her followers and fans to feel comfortable being themselves. She has undergone numerous cosmetic surgeries and it was a shock for some people, however, she handled it well and her fans still love her.
