How to increase my blog popularity in 2023? How to gain more traffic, more visitors? Traffic is everything for bloggers. The more traffic, the more money you can make.
Started from the bottom, now we already have 5000 unique visitors a month. I say Respect!In just 2 years. Hopes up for the next coming 10 years.
Search for respect, not attention, dont be a KIMK. Don’t show off your body all the time.
Which blog has the best answer? Everyone pretends to be an expert, but at the end of the day there are not that many real experts out there. But experience is key! We are not the BEST, but we are definitely not like the rest;)
You want to gain more traffic to your blog. We all want that right.
You don’t want people to only like your blog, you want them to visit your blog daily!
Traffic is everything. Traffic means money. You already read and heard that.
You also know that most traffic comes through Google. People search for information in Google. Although TikTok is a big competitor. TikTok is becoming a search engine on itself and that is no good news for us, cause we focus on Google. On Google/search engine traffic.
But how do you increase your traffic? How to increase your blog popularity?

1.Write about trends and popular topics
Don’t just blog about the things you love (you can do this once your blog is popular and make a mix out of it), but write about the things people search for so write about trends. If your blog is about blogging write about blogging trends for 2023. Give blogging tips. If your blog is about fashion you can write about the trends for winter 2022. What are people gonna wear? But also write about different kind of styles. What is gothic fashion? What is lesbian fashion? What is edgy fashion? (my style!). Check the big fashion blogs like Glamour, Vogue, Who What Wear and look for popular topics. You can check your competition on www.similarweb.com and analyse it. Need some help with the write keywords/topics? Hire a freelancer on websites like Fiverr and and Upwork.
2. Post regulary
Don’t just blog once a month. No blog every week, or at least twice a week. Keep your blog updated. Google loves that. You will see a good amount of traffic of you post at least twice or three times a week. If you don’t have the time for it you can hire questwriters for it. Let them contribrute to your blog. I am looking for guestwriters. Checkthisout and send a message.
Stay blogging! Don’t quit after just 1 year after seeing no results. Blogging takes time! Take your time!Give it at least 3 years for seeing some good results. After 3 years you can expect like 50k traffic for sure if you work hard on your marketing.
3.Also use social media
I always say: fame has the game. Are you already popular on social media? Use it for your blog. You will have traffic already. You have the name, the fame and the game. People will go to your blog and you can make money more easily. Thats why I dont get why famous people like Cardi B and Kim Kardashian don’t start a blog to make some extra money. Also Dutch people like Famke Louise and Selma Omari could use their social media fame for extra blogging money. Blogging is a great way to make money and can even make you a millionaire.
You can also invest in some advertising on social media. Boost a post and increase its reach. For 50 dollar you can reach a lot of people and those people can keep coming back to your blog.
4.Make businesscards
You will need to network and spread the world you have a blog. Give everyone your businesscards. Go to fashion events or other networking events and give your card.
You can also put your businesscards in coffee bars and restaurants. You never know who will find your card and wants to see your blog. You only need 1 good person that sees potential in your blogs and wants to invest in you and your talent. Be smart, think smart. Spread your cards, but do it in places that match with your target group.
5.You need SEO
If you are a newbie to blogging you probably have no idea what that means or is. But it is necessary to get organic traffic.
SEO means everything you do to optimize your blog for search engines like Google, Bing etc.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the practice of growing a website’s traffic from organic search results. It involves things like keyword research, content creation, link building, and technical audits.
There is a lot involved and most marketing agencies can do this for you.
