Blogging for money in 2024.. Well some people will wonder. But blogging is a hobby right? Its nice and fun to write about things you love and like but making money with a blog…well welcome to 2024. Its a living! and yes it can make you rich. Want to know more about Rich bloggers? Then read this. Selling your blog for millions? Ow hell yeah. Somepeople became millionaire 8 till 10 years after launching their blog because of their blog. They sold their blogs or have multiple income streams. Think big and you will get big. Blog in English.
Well to be really honest: we blog for money. I (iammandyb) blog for money! Okay, we also like to be creative, show our ideas, fashion looks, beauty looks and ideas and we hope to find a creative director job somewhere at a great company someday. Someone who sees our talent and like to think of ideas for the brand. Hit me up!
But blogging is just my living for now (no 10k a month yet, this will take another 10 years I think). I blog for the money. And yes you can make a lot of money with blogging. For now I am just making 2k (not even 2k yet) per month with some Dutch blogs, but I think this blog will bring in a lot of money in a few years. I don’t like working for a boss and I just like to be my own boss. For now I do have an extra job as social worker/health care worker for some extra money and because I like helping people but also because I want to invest in new ideas. Do something good for the world and others and it will come back to you. Karma does exist.
Making money with blogging is all about traffic. The more traffic, the more money. Once we reach the 50.000 sessions (that is around 60.000) pageviews per month we will try Mediavine. I have read many blogs about this advertising network and I have read many good stories about this advertising network. With Mediavine you can make between 10 and 20 dollar for every 1000 pageviews. Thats a lot! Some people even make more. It all depends on your niche and traffic. So you can easily make 2k with your blog just with advertising only. Do you have 500k pageviews a month? You can make more then 10k per month with advertising only. And that is with 1 blog! What if you have 3 or more blogs? Of course there are other advertisers like Mediafem and Adthrive etc. Do you know any good advertising networks? Maybe also for our Dutch blogs? TELL US!
And then there is affiliate marketing and sponsored content/guestposts. This is also a big business and a way to make more money with your blog. Affiliate marketing is not that easy, but it can make you some extra a month. Having 500k visitors? Think of 5000 dollar a month with affiliate marketing, but this can be a lot more depending on your blog niche and traffic. You have to promote the right products. Clothing will not make you millions, but maybe some digital products will like online courses. Find the right products to promote. It must also be a match with your niche of course. Then you can alsomake a lot of money with sponsored posts, although everyone wants guestposts nowdays and linkbuilding is a big business on blogs. There a lot of companies for sponsored posts/guestposts. Once you have more then 5000/10.000 unique visitors a month you can sign up at these networks and make some extra money.
So you can make money with advertising, with sponsored content and affiliate marketing.
And what do you think of selling your own products? Look at the famous beauty Queen Huda Kattan. She started her own blog about beauty and now has a beauty empire worth millions. She was one of the first bloggers selling Beauty products/make-up. Now every celebrity/blogger has their own line. I think its difficult these days to start your own line and make money. You don’t have the name yet, you are not Rihanna, Ariana Grande or Kylie jenner..
So we actually think blogging is the best way to make money in 2022. Or you must be very good at making videos and start at YouTube or TikTok. But everyone is there nowadays.
Instagram, YouTube, TikTok all nice and fun but difficult now. Everyone is there and wants to get famous and seen. So if you don’t have the name yet it will be very difficult to make it big on these platforms.
